Roblox Parental Controls Not Working: Link and Age Checks

A missing or disabled control may be caused by an unlinked account, an age milestone, or an unmet age-check requirement. Check these before trying to reset everything.

Before you start

Use the official Roblox account and keep passwords, one-time codes, gift-card PINs, and full payment details off third-party sites.

What to check, in order

  1. 1

Confirm the correct child username appears in the linked parent's dashboard.

  2. 2

Read the label beside the unavailable setting, including any Age check needed message, and compare Roblox's age milestone guide.

  3. 3

Make one change at a time and check the child's account afterward. If the control still fails, describe the exact screen to Roblox Support.

One important limit

Using the child's password in place of the parent link will not restore dashboard permissions.

Continue on an official screen

Use the linked Roblox or payment-provider page to confirm the current options. If you contact support, describe what happened and the checks you have already tried.
