Roblox Kids vs. Roblox Select: Age Groups and Controls

Roblox Kids and Select are age-based experiences with different content and communication rules. Check the child's age-check status and linked parent dashboard for the settings actually available.

Before you start

Use the official Roblox account and keep passwords, one-time codes, gift-card PINs, and full payment details off third-party sites.

What to check, in order

  1. 1

Read Roblox's current Kids and Select explanation and the age milestone guide; age groups and features can change.

  2. 2

In Parental controls, review content, communication, friends, and spending for that child. Confirm the child's actual age group on Account info.

  3. 3

Use the allowed and blocked experience controls for specific exceptions where available.

One important limit

A self-reported birthday alone may not unlock a feature that requires an age check.

Continue on an official screen

Use the linked Roblox or payment-provider page to confirm the current options. If you contact support, describe what happened and the checks you have already tried.
