What to check, in order

Open Settings and Account info on the official account. Choose the password change control and enter the current password when asked.

Create a unique new password and save it in a trusted password manager. Check the account email and sessions after the change.

If an unfamiliar person had access, end other sessions and enable two-step verification.
One important limit
Do not type the old or new password into a support ticket or this site's tools.
